About Us

The Southbury Needy Fund, a 501(c)3 organization, operates on a year-round basis helping Southbury residents when there are no other sources available. The Fund provides clothing, books, and toys for children of families identified by Social Services during the holiday season.

The Fund also provides tuition for local children to attend the Park and Rec camp and pays for some field trips. It is also called upon in emergency situations to provide shelter or essentials to displaced families.
